This was the first location my students and I painted from on the first day of Student/Faculty Collaborative Summer Research 2023. We painted from 6-9pm as we discussed what we learned from John F. Carlson's Guide to Painting Landscapes. We used a limited palette of Dark Red, Dark Blue, Yellow, and White. For me that was Baroque Red, Cobalt Blue, Cadmium Yellow Light and Titanium White.
